(Red Free) This is an early ripening, crisp, sweet-tart, red-green apple that is a mixture of Jonathan, Melba, and Raritan. Developed by Purdue, Rutgers, and Illinois Co Op.They can be stored for 2-3 weeks.
An early season, crisp, juicy, and sweet apple that has been described to have a brown sugar undertone. This is another good all-around apple for eating, sauce, baking, and juice. It also has a long 2-3 month storage life.
This apple was first bred at the Department of Horticulture at the Illinois Experiment Station in Urbana, Illinois. This is a juicy, crisp, fragrant apple that is good for pies and sauce. Can only be stored for a few weeks.

(Fuji) This is a juicy, crisp, sweet apple with an aromatic flavor. They are some of the best apples for applesauce. They are great for eating, baking, and juice. Can be stored for 3 months or more.
Illinois’ state apple. Developed by the Purdue, Rutgers, and Illinois Co Op. This is a crisp, juicy apple with a good balance of sweet and tart, so named for its golden color and rush of flavor. It is a great apple that can be used for eating, sauces, baking, and juice. Can be stored for at least 7 months if stored properly.
This is a crisp, tart apple with an aromatic flavor. The flavor mellows the longer the apple is stored along with the degree of hardness. Apple becomes almost black after storage. This is a good apple for baking, juice, and cider. Can be store 4-5 months.
