Does the cider have to be refrigerated?
Treat cider like milk - refrigerate it when you get home. It stays good for 4–6 weeks regardless of whether it's been opened.
How should I store my apples & pumpkins?
Apples: Store in the refrigerator in a plastic bag or glass container. Oxygen and heat cause apples to soften quickly. Some varieties store much longer than others — GoldRush keeps well for up to 11 months when refrigerated.
Pumpkins: Keep them clean and dry. Clean off any dirt with dish soap and water and dry thoroughly before storing.
Never store apples and pumpkins together. Apples emit ethylene gas, which causes pumpkins - and other produce - to rot prematurely.
What's the best way to reheat frozen donuts?
Microwave method (fastest):
Remove donuts from plastic shell and place on a microwave-safe plate.
1 donut = 7 seconds
½ dozen = 1 min 12 sec
1 dozen = 2 min 25 sec
Optional: sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar after heating!
Oven method: Thaw for a few hours on the counter, or place on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 8–10 minutes.
